Rip Off

For the MBFWA Dynamic Store at the Fashion Week Amsterdam 2016, a group of young fashion designers were invited to display their work, Vita Stasiukynaite, Ting Gong & Tijme Veldt. I was asked to take care of the communication and think along for spatial gestures in the spirit of the show’s name: ‘Rip Off’. I designed a big block of A2 posters, layered in nine different motives, which was glued at the sides and perforated in a zigzag shape at the top and the bottom. The result was a interactive sculpture, inviting people to literally rip off pieces with bits of information and reveal layer by layer of the poster stack. The ripped pieces functioned both as flyers and created the fun mess that the initiator were looking to initiate onside.
